Ledesma, Enrique "Henry"
Obituary
Longtime Frisco resident Enrique “Henry” Ledesma, 82, joined our Heavenly Father on Friday, June 5, 2015 surrounded by loved ones. Enrique was born in Edinburg, Texas on September 21, 1932 to Francisco Ledesma and Guillerma Rios. Raised in Edinburg, he met his future wife Oralia “Lala” Jimenez and married on June 6, 1955. Enrique and his family settled in Frisco, Texas in 1967 where he worked locally at a cotton gin. After working for Bent Tree Golf Course, then Prestonwood Mall, he retired after 10 years of service as a custodian with the Frisco ISD. Enrique is survived by his wife Oralia Ledesma, and their four children: Yolanda Gonzalez, Eduardo Ledesma, Gerardo Ledesma and wife Emilia, and Imelda Garcia, as well as a sister, Olivia Arce, and brother Francisco “Kiko” Ledesma Jr., 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and many other people called him Grandpa. Enrique will always be remembered as a well-groomed with Old Spice scent, black comb in pocket type of man who enjoyed the greatness of Mother Nature on a sunny day. “Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer’s day, listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky is by no means a waste of time.” —John Lubbock. Viewing will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Frisco on Friday, June 12, 2015 at 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, with Mass at 1:00 PM, followed by reception. The family has asked that instead of flowers, donations can be made to St. Francis Catholic Church in Enrique Ledesma’s name. Arrangements are under the direction of ARIA Cremation Service and Funeral Home 19310 Preston Road Dallas, Texas 75252 214-306-6700
