Frank Jeremiah “Jeremy” Kidd, age 45, of Elkhart, Texas went to be with the Lord on the morning of August 10, 2015. Jeremy was born on February 18, 1970 in Wadsworth, Ohio. He was a graduate of Norton High School and was currently employed at TDCJ at the Beto Unit. Jeremy had a quiet nature about him and was a sensitive and loving man. He adored his wife and children and was a committed and faithful provider. He was a Christian and is now currently in the presence of our Lord and Savior and reunited with his friends and family who have left this earth before him, including his parents, Frank and Martha Anna (Greathouse) Kidd. He is survived by his beloved wife, Desiree Nicole Kidd of Elkhart; loving children, Daughter, Anna Caroline Kidd and son, Joseph Jeremiah Kidd; mother, Royce Stephens and husband, Bill of Palestine; brother, Nathan Casteele and his sons, Levi, Luke, and Logan of Dallas Texas; sister, Kim Couchman and husband, Jim and their sons, Josh and Elijah of Urbana, Ohio; mother-in-law, Caroline Friend of Elkhart, Texas; brother-in-law, Michael Friend and wife Desirae of Wichita, Kansas and sister-in-law, Tonia Coe and husband, Kevin of Washington, DC; aunt, Norma Frase of Palestine, Texas and cousin, Alan Dobbs and his wife, Mimi of Sugarland, Texas; sister-in-law, Crystal Bovaird Dallas and a host of foster sisters and brothers, friends and coworkers . Jeremy was loved by all who knew him. A visitation will begin at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 15, 2015 followed by a celebration of his life at 3:00 P.M. at Memorial Missionary Baptist Church located at 115 FM 1817, Elkhart, Texas 75839. Flowers will be handled by Petals Flower Shop in Palestine, Texas. If desired, please make donations to the Kidd Family Benefit Fund, at Prosperity Bank in 1015 N. Sgt. Kidd was an amazing man, he truly cared and showed that he did to both officers and offenders. His integrity and value were above all and he will truly be missed. RIP Sgt. Kidd
