Obituary
Billy Joe Frazier passed away peacefully at home on August 18, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. He was born on October 11, 1930 in Hillsboro, Texas to Tennie Bell and Frank Frazier, Sr. He attended Manor High School in Manor, Texas and graduated in 1948. He joined the U.S. Marine Corp and served for four years as a Sergeant in the Korean War. Upon completing his service, he started his career in the fastener business with Bosco Bolt, Nut and Screw working for them 13 years. In 1979 he started his company Austin Bolt Co. Later, his son Randy joined him as co-owner in the business. This allowed Bill to be a full-time salesman, his favorite activity. Bill retired in 2006 to dedicate more time to his church and family. He is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers John, Arthur, and Frank, Jr.; his sisters Juanita and Corrine; and his two sons Jerry Lee and David Scott. His is survived by his loving wife Wlima Jo; his brother Dr. Les Frazier; his son Randy; daughter Charla and husband Raymond; grandsons Casey, Cody and Scott; granddaughters Christie and Debra; great grandchildren Darbi, Demi, Drew, Lane, Morgan and Davy. Bill was a member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church. He loved his family and friends, and especially his three dogs, Percy, Rosy and Abby. He was a man with a smile and a kind word and he will be missed by his family and friends. The family wishes to thank his dedicated caregivers and staff at the Visiting Nurses Assoc. A memorial service will be held on August 26 at 10:00 at Calvary Hill Baptist Church, 3300 La Prada Drive, Mesquite, Texas 75150. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the charity of your choice.
