Harry Kenneth “Ken” Ross Jr. was born on April 3, 1958 in Henderson, Texas. He married Jacqueline “Jackie” Ann Ross on May 8, 1991 in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. They have three children: Michael Ross, age 30 of Dallas, Helena Ross, age 21 of Plano, and Paige Ross, age 19 of Plano. Ken served honorably in the United States Air Force for 20 years. During that time, he achieved the rank of Master Sergeant. In August of 1990, Ken met Jackie at the NCO Club on the Upper Heyford AFB. After marrying, they immigrated to the United States in 1991. Ken worked as an engineer in the telecom industry for 20 years at Nortel/Avaya. Ken was an avid hunter and accomplished marksman. He received numerous awards at state competitions. Ken had a definite need for speed. It didn’t matter if it was dirt bikes, street bikes, or sports cars. He built his 1965 Shelby Cobra replica by hand. Ken enjoyed fishing and anything outdoors. I was very saddened to hear of your passing, you were an inspiration and helped me on my path to success. You were a great boss and human being!
Our sympathy and condolence for your loss. Pam and I are deeply saddened by Ken’s passing. He will certainly be remembered and cherished as our friend at Avaya. We have donated to your organization preference ‘No Stomach for Cancer’ in Ken’s name. God Bless, Bill and Pam Borque
I was deeply saddened to hear of Ken’s passing. I worked with Ken at Nortel/Avaya for many years and considered him to be a friend as well as co-worker. He was always a person I could go to if I needed help and always appreciated his guidance and recommendations. Ken will be missed but not forgotten.
Dear Ross family and friends,
Everyone at No Stomach For Cancer would like to extend their deepest condolences on the recent passing of Ken. Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the loss of your loved one. May God bless you during this difficult time.
My half brother that I I had idolized since I was five years old. He was around eighteen and came home to see us. I remember him being taller than the Christmas tree. I found him when I was around thirty-five, he was working for Nortel. Come to find out we lived in connecting cities. Today in 2018 I learned of his passing as I sit here working on Ancestry. He did tell me when I met up with him that he was a private man. He chose not to carry on a family relationship and I accepted his wish. I am so sad to learn that he has passed away at such an early age, but glad I got the chance to see him close to 14 years ago, it was a great time to remember even though it was for a day. Thank you brother for that time. I am proud of you, PS … guess what, I have a love for Mustangs too. I drive a 2010 red Mustang Convertible. Peace and Live to you, Carolyn
