Sis I’m truly missing you for your not there to call anymore or ask your advise, or to gather with family like we most always did, when we would prepare our favorite dish for you remember our big holiday meal, our playing the fun yet hillarious gift exchange game, especially the holidays to take with us and share, I miss your belly laughs so full of fun and our joke telling but perhaps we’d tell the answer first, oh well that made us laugh even more, Ok I still have memories of our getting together in your home with once again a spread of food sometimes we’d eat formal at the table, in our laps, on the floor, outside, wherever you placed us. No matter we always had plenty of food prepared even for invited guests. Oh yeah remember when Linda made the Hub Cap Pecan Pies we all had a big Texas sized laugh, but Linda I want to tell you I betcha sis, Red and all the family that was there are laughing again right about now. Not telling all the story but what about you and the chicken feathers
when you were a youngster? Maybe brother Jim or our sis #2 Linda could fill in the blanks. I hope they can remember many more tales or honest stories from way back. I still need the complete story on a very distant Cherokee Indian maiden Relative named Pochahantas. I do do hope the story is to be found. Well Carolyn that’s another reason we would talk and carry on back when I needed information regarding dates of all kinds. I particularly wanted birth dates for the family members for a list I was formatting for everybody. FYI, if you are reading this Sis #1 had put together a lot regarding our family genealogy. Carolyn I really miss you loads please don’t think otherwise. I love you today just as I’ve always loved you. Please tell my Bill & all other family members I can’t go a day without thinking of all of them. Now for the boys, I love each of them but they have grown so far from family. It’s just not right but I will add please be there now for your mom as there’s not a day when I spoke with her that she didn’t mention your names or how you were helping Her in one way or another. I’m speaking of all three. It’s time for you all to be there for your dad as he has also tried to raise you kids better.
    Love #3 Sis,
    Dorothy.

June was one of the sweetest, kindest and caring person I have ever known. She would absololutely give you the shirt off her back if she thought you needed it. She and Red were great neighbors for many years and Bob and I were blessed to have them as neighbors.

We were so sorry to hear about June. We loved her like a sister. We are so sorry we will not be able to make it down to her services. WE both have health issues at this time. I never see my azaleas bloom without thinking of June she thought they were so pretty. We love you all and are thinking about you at this time.

Will miss my wonderful, loving, supportive cousin. She always had a spark for life and a giggle in her voice. I loved her humor and sparing back and forth. I never saw her treat anyone unkindly. My cousins are my siblings and she especially was that. I loved her and will miss her. Rest sweetheart. You are healed now.

"Nothing prepares you for the grief you go through when losing a child. I called this funeral home at 2:00 am broken and could barely talk. The amount of compassion and empathy they showed me immediately let me know I found the right place to cremate my son. I cannot thank them enough for their professionalism, SINCERE concern, and commitment to making sure my son was honored in the most respectful way. I hope this Funeral home values her as much as my family and I do."

"I can’t say enough about how helpful and professional Dusty Martin, the funeral director at the Aria Cremation location on NW Highway has been. From my initial call, he was kind and informative. My friend died at home while on hospice and she was picked up in about an hour after receiving the call from the hospice nurse. The person who arrived to pick her up was also very professional/respectful and allowed us to take as much time with her as we wished. When I met with Dusty the next day about arrangements, he explained the process and options available without being pushy or trying to “sell” extras. Throughout the process, he kept me informed and, for example, was careful to be certain I understood the cost of the obituary I wanted and offered some options for reducing that cost if I wished. When I stopped by for another reason and started talking about some of the problems I was having with the pictures and media I hoped to use at a memorial lunch I was planning, he not only listened patiently but offered technology advice and let me use his personal media player. I have had experience arranging cremations for four others using two other local companies, and this experience with Dusty at Aria has been by far the best one I have had."

"My Daddy’s service and our family experience at Aria Northwest Highway was truly blessed. Funeral Director Dustin Martin is the kind of person that you would like to see on a more regular basis – but in his industry – you hope to not see him that often. That being said – THANK YOU DUSTIN for your unending kindness, compassion and friendship through the process. Meeting you and discussing Dallas History, Find A Grave and my Dad’s lifelong contributions to the great City of Dallas was simply wonderful! In memory of my dad James A. Dodd, Sr. – I want to personally thank you and let you know that you made everything better in that moment. Your calling to “Be There” is spot on. Aria has a one in a million guy in you! Bling Blinky of TEXAS Shout Out: God Bless You!!"
