Tuite, John B.
Obituary
John B. Tuite was born on June 18, 1947 in Orange, NJ and died on October 7, 2015 in McKinney, TX. He grew up in Montclair, NJ. After being orphaned as a young child, he was raised in his grandmother’s home by his aunt Mary McNulty, and uncle Michael McNulty. His uncles John and James McNulty, both Catholic priests, were close to him as well. Over the course of his career, John held positions in banking as well as the aviation and photography industries. His photos appeared often in the J.C. Penney catalog. His avocations were aviation – he was proud of his private pilot’s license and Certified Flight Instructor rating – and photography. He left his family with hundreds of pictures of family events, trips and special occasions. He much preferred to be behind the camera than in front of it. John was a good man. He never married, but his life centered around his love of family. He cared for his aunt and uncle until they passed away. He was close to his brother Michael, his wife Suzanne, niece Peggy Metcalf and her husband Kurt and their four sons, nephew Michael and wife Coleen and their seven children and nephew Kevin, his wife Michelle and their two children. Uncle Johnny was noted among them for always giving “the coolest gifts.” He is also held in loving memory by his sister-in-law Frances Tuite and her five children. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him, May his soul and the souls of all the faithful rest in peace. Amen Arrangements are under the direction of ARIA Cremation Service and Funeral Home 19310 Preston Road Dallas, Texas 75252 214-306-6700

I think back over the years and realize the influence my Uncle John had on me and I smile. I tried some photography and realized it was much harder than he made it look. Aviation has been one of the biggest parts of my life thanks to him and my father, rising from my teenage avocation to my current vocation. He truly was a good man and I will miss him.
My Condolences to you and the family in these difficult times.
Uncle Johnny holds a special place in my heart and childhood memories. In the very early years, Johnny and Mickey would babysit for us and give us candy and sing. Later memories of Thanksgivings and hanging out with the folks in Hackettstown. He had a great sense of humor and was always kind.
Dear Mickey and Suzanne, So sorry to hear about Johnny’s death. We were very close in age therefore only Johnny to me. Seems many moons ago sharing holidays Take care Mary
