A beautiful, so very kind and loving man. Forever remembered. We are here for you always. Love Quinton, Roman and Debbie Davidsson.
Bob was a good man. Never a bad word, raised voice. Professional in business dealings and with employees, always. My best wishes to Debby and his children. -Joe Hunter
My sincerest condolences to Debbie, Ben and Christi for your loss. Of all his endeavors, he was proudest of each and every one of you.
I stand in awe of Bob’s contributions over the last 30 years. His life is a testament to talent, class, integrity and hard work. He was always humble and kind. He collaborated with people, embracing both my Aggies and his Longhorns.
Intensely creative, Bob pioneered photo-realistic architectural rendering on Mac computers before his peers. His designs captured a timelessness about them. He contributed significantly to Modern International Style, certain materials and construction techniques. His designs inspired other firms.
If he had an ego, he didn’t show it. He avoided his earned “starchitect” status that lesser designers will never achieve. He always credited his family and team with his success. I am better because of Bob’s inspired designs.
In almost twenty years I never saw Bob get angry. Concerned, yes. Disappointed, sometimes. But I never heard him yell. I sure did hear him laugh! He will be missed.
Bologna! Bob had a dark side and though he rarely showed it it was there because I experienced it on more than one occasion if you didn’t agree with him. It was ugly and he threatened me and scared me. Too bad I couldn’t tell him face to face what he did to me because I just found out he passed in 2015.
Deb, so sorry for your loss. I hope to see you soon.
Love to you and your family.
Gayla
I’m very sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you. I’m sending you my love, Peter A Miller
I worked with Bob & Charles in the late 1970s, early in their careers, before they ventured into their subsequent partnership. Bob exhibited great talent at a young age, had a wonderful sense of humor, and an infectious laugh. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.
Debbie,
I am too, sorry for your great and unfortunate loss. Bob was my boss, though I always felt he was my friend. I was honored to make the usual beer run at GDA! I practice the same at my office, and always think of Bob. Just one of the things I remeber… He was a true mentor to me and I contacted him often for both business and design advice and he was always willing to give his honest and sincere advice! I remember fishing with Bob at the company pick-nick… never thought I’d know anyone that loved fishing more than I… Bob did! Debbie, so glad to know and work with you both. I am sorry for your and his children’s loss as so many are. My sincere condolences. Mark
My condolences for the loss of a great man. I worked for Bob in the mid 90’s and just heard of his passing. He will be missed.
