Roman, Kara

October 30, 1936 - October 18, 2015

Kara Virginia Chrietzberg Roman (Ginny), October 30, 1936 – October 18, 2015, resident of Dallas, Texas

After a three year battle with illness, Ginny passed away peacefully at Medical City Hospital in Dallas, Texas.  She was born in Mineola, TX and attended Mineola High School.  She held a secretarial position most of her career.

Ginny was one of five children born to the late Lon and Lois Chrietzberg and was the beloved wife of Tannie Roman for over 45 years.  Left to honor and remember her love are Ginny’s two sisters, Peggy Johnston and Martha Gould, her four children, Kim Lawrence, Jon Kevin Miller, David Kyle Miller, and Kristina Roman, twelve grandchildren, eight great grand children and many nieces and nephews.  Ginny was preceded in death by her parents, brother Billy Paul Chrietzberg and sister Dorothy Crenshaw.  Ginny was an excellent cook, loved listening to oldies music and spending time with family.  She touched the lives of many people with her loving heart and maintained her trademark sense of humor to the very end.  Friends and family are invited to attend memorial services on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 10:30 am at Marsh Lane Baptist Church, 10716 Marsh Lane, Dallas, TX 75229.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Ginny’s name to Marsh Lane Baptist Church.

Excellent customer service, they made you feel like you were their only customer. Very helpful and explained what we should expect during the process. They basically took care of our needs during this time. They contacted DFW National Cemetery for us which made it a smooth experience. Definitely will use them again.
