Paul Edward Rochester passed away peacefully in Dallas, TX on the morning of November 7, 2015. He was 85 years old. He was born in New York, NY. He was the younger son of Gwendolen Wolfe and Edward Rochester. His childhood years were spent in Vermont, Maine, Massachusetts, Nevada, Arizona, and New Hamps hire. He graduated high school from St. Paul’s School, Concord, NH. He completed his undergraduate degree at Stanford University and received an MBA from Cornell University. He worked in the Accounting Dept. for various companies in the San Francisco Bay area and the Monterey Peninsula. He retired from the Housing Authority in Salinas, CA.
He moved to Dallas 3 1/2 years ago to be close to his children. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his second wife Gay Ruth.
He is survived by his daughter Alisone Kopita (Dr. Jeffrey Kopita), their children Lilly and Phillip, son Grafton Rochester (Celeste), his brother Dr. Dudley Rochester (Lois), and sister Nancy Caird (Donald). Special thanks to Monticello West Assisted Living and Vitas Hospice for all their support and care.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations in his memory can be made to the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and a Nature Conservation Organization of your choice.
