Nemith, Joseph William
Obituary
Joseph “Joe” William Nemith, of Frisco, Texas, passed away on November 8th 2015 at the age of 63. Joe was born on November 20th 1951 in Wheeling, West Virginia as the second of four children to Joseph Nemith and Virginia “Jenny” Bowen Nemith. He graduated from Oak Glen High School in New Manchester, WV before marrying his high school sweetheart, Pamela L. Moore. Joe went on to attend West Liberty University of West Virginia as a Chi Nu Fraternity Member before receiving his bachelor’s in business. He was a skilled wrestler both in high school and in college and enjoyed participating on the track team. Joe built a career around the corrugated box business but he devoted himself to his wife & children. Joe and Pam moved to Texas following the birth of their grandchildren and Joe retired not long after. Retirement made it easier for Joe to enjoy his favorite pastimes. He golfed many times a week with amazing friends at Stonebriar Country Club in Frisco. He was an avid reader and history buff, as well as, known for random knowledge and trivia facts. Joe looked forward to the newspaper daily and read it from cover to cover, along with completing the Sudoku puzzles. His love on Saturdays was watching his grandkids play soccer and watching the Notre Dame Fighting Irish with his family. He looked forward to each touchdown as he would hook arms with the whole family and sing the fight song while teaching all of his grandchildren the words.. Joseph William Nemith was a loving husband, father, Papa and friend. He was a great comfort and constant to those who knew him. You could always count on Joseph to be there for you. Joe will be remembered by many as being one of the good guys but, to some, he was the very best. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Jenny Nemith, and his brother, John Nemith. Joe is survived by his beloved wife of almost 45 years, Pamela Lee Nemith, his daughter, Stacey Bachmann and son-in-law Chad, his son, Joseph “Joe” William Nemith II and daughter-in-law Brianna, his grandchildren, Caitlin Bachmann, Kyle Bachmann, Avery Nemith and Joseph “LJ” Brayden Nemith, his brother James “Jim” Nemith, his sister, Virginia “J’an” Shaubel, as well as extended family and cherished friends. The family will celebrate Joe’s life with a private memorial service. Joe was a kind, caring, compassionate man. I remember many an evening with me on one side of the aerobic room and Joe on the other with friends sandwiched in between and Pam leading the charge. He was so very kind and caring to my brother who was in need of kindness and compassion. I am so very proud to have had Joe as a friend.
Pam,Stacy and Joe, Sorry for the loss of your husband, father and my cousin. I was in shock when i got the word.
The memories i have will always be etched in my head of the Great times at all of our family gatherings either at gram and paps for a pig roast or in Eden Valley at aunt Jenny and uncle Joes going through the garden .As u know he was a great person, and gone way to soon, but god must have needed help controling the others. I bet there is cigar smoke everywhere!!!!
Love you all, and please take care.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know how much he meant to all of you and I know he will be missed. I remember many great times in your home in Eldorado and will keep you all in my prayers. Hugs and Kisses.
Joe, I am saddened by the news of your father. I never knew him but he obviously was a special man in many ways. My thoughts and prayers are with you and family.
I have known the Nemith Family for years, with Mr. Nemith’s son, Joe (Pup), being one of my best friends since High School. The Nemith’s are one of my favorite families to be around, even though it’s been years since they’ve lived in Indiana, I still feel like they’re right around corner.
Mr. Nemith will be sorely missed, but never forgotten by all that knew and loved him. He has raised a beautiful family, and his memories will keep that light shining.
RIP Mr. Nemith. You will be missed.
I was shocked when I heard about Joe. I’m so sorry for your loss. Joe was a great friend, frat brother, and wrestler at OG and WL. I was talking to Tracy Bailey recently about your move to Texas. I will miss him.
Sincerely,
Jack Porter
