Dallas F. Wadsworth passed away on October 29, 2015 in Plano, Texas. He was born in Arcadia, Oklahoma on March 2, 1922. Dallas served as a pilot in the US Navy during WWII and retired as a LCDR in the reserves. He received his PhD from the University of California at Davis in 1957. Dallas enjoyed teaching plant pathology to all students especially the many international students who attended Oklahoma State University from 1949 to 1985. He and his wife Clare retired to Rockport, Texas in 1985.
Dallas is preceded in death by his wife Clare and survived by his son Mike, wife Becky and grandson Spencer. In lieu of flowers, consider making a contribution to the the Salvation Army in his memory.
Dallas and Claribel will be laid to rest together after a committal service with Navy Honors at 11:00 A.M., Monday, December 28, 2015 at Dallas Ft Worth National Cemetery 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas.
