Haff, Larry A.

Larry Allen Haff, 67, born November 3, 1948 died unexpectedly from cancer on December 10, 2015.

Larry was raised on the east coast and in Panama. After Marine service in Vietnam, Larry graduated from East Texas State University and moved to Dallas. Larry was an entrepreneur and was respected for his various business ventures.

He was preceded in death by his wife Trenda VanHorn Haff. Larry is survived by: his sister April Keen; his brother George Haff; his son Derek Haff; his step-daughter Kim VanHorn Distin, his grandchildren Sage Haff, Ayden Haff, and Marissa Distin, and his nephew Chris Livingston.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Veterans Affairs Medical Center of Dallas.

Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 P.M., Sunday, December 13, 2015 at North Dallas Funeral Chapel 2710 Valley View Lane, Dallas, Texas 75234.

A reception and memorial gathering will follow the service at Bent Tree Piano Bar and Grill located 18110 Midway Road, Suite 188, Dallas, Texas 75287

I know i speak for all of the Kuntz family when i say our hearts are broken...Larry had the greatest smile and he and i had some very thoughtful conversations when we saw each only regret is that we can't be there with you in your time of need...we are family, after all, and that will never change...we are sending you a big hug at this time....i'm so sorry, Derek...i'm just grateful you all were with him at the end...may God keep you in His tender loving to all, Karin (on behalf of the Kuntz Family)....
