June 1, 1935 - November 13, 2015
June Curtis Bell was born on June 1, 1935 in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, England to the late Hilda Beatrice Louise Cuttriss-Curtis and George Edward Cuttriss-Curtis. The sun set on her life on November 13, 2015 in Celina, Texas when she joined her Lord and Savior in his heavenly kingdom.
She was a devoted and loving mother to four children and Nana to nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was also a beloved sister, aunt, friend and co-worker at Texas Back Institute for more than 20 years, prior to her retirement in 2005.
June loved her family, her friends, and serving her church. She served as a Lay Minister at St. Marks Catholic Church in Plano, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Marilyn Nash of Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
She is survived by her adoring children: three daughters, Susan Morrison of Plano, Texas; Kathy Clark of Niceville, Florida; and Libby Smith and her husband Mike of Texarkana, Texas; one son, Tim Bell and his wife, Pam of McKinney, Texas. Nine Precious grandchildren: Jennifer Kay and husband, Jerrod, Bart Clark and wife, Amanda, Kiley Rhoades and husband, Scott, Dane Clark and wife, Allison, Ben Bell, Brad Bell, Amanda Bell, Luke Smith and Cole Smith; and 6 beautiful great-grandchildren, Landon, Emilie Kate, Leah, Easton, Olivia, and Caitlin. June is also survived by her two sisters, Virginia LeCrenn of San Jose, California and Andrea Wilshen and her husband, Tony of Leigh-On-Sea, Essex, England; as well as a number of special nieces, nephews, extended family including her cherished church family.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
