Nohra, Steven "Steve" P.

Nohra, Steven (Steve) Patrick 1954-2015

On December 29th, surrounded by those he loved at home, with the same grace, dignity and perseverance as he led his life.

Steve was the loving soulmate of Carla Luther (‘Baby’), adoring proud father of Sam, devoted son of Sam Nohra and Carole Booth, dear sibling of Sam and Sandy, Cherie, and Frankie, special nephew of Leon and Rose and cherished of many.

Considered a ‘diamond in the rough’, Steve began in the garment industry with his dad over 35 years ago and developed life-long relationships of respect and admiration for his generosity of spirit and unparalleled work ethic.

Steve will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and many colleagues.

Special thanks to Drs. Madrov (Medical Center of Plano), Wang (MD Anderson of Houston), Vance (Baylor), Fresenius Medical Care West Dialysis and their respective teams for their care and devotion. At Steve’s request, his ashes will be returned to the family mausoleum in New Orleans.

Theresa and I are so sorry for your loss; for all of our loss. Steve will be remembered as one of the good guys, if not the best. Always willing to help others. He will be missed. You will be missed. Maybe our paths cross again someday. Our love, thoughts and prayers go out to you. I think you were his "everything" and his source of strength. God rest his soul and God bless you.
