"Nothing prepares you for the grief you go through when losing a child. I called this funeral home at 2:00 am broken and could barely talk. The amount of compassion and empathy they showed me immediately let me know I found the right place to cremate my son. I cannot thank them enough for their professionalism, SINCERE concern, and commitment to making sure my son was honored in the most respectful way. I hope this Funeral home values her as much as my family and I do."

"I can’t say enough about how helpful and professional Dusty Martin, the funeral director at the Aria Cremation location on NW Highway has been. From my initial call, he was kind and informative. My friend died at home while on hospice and she was picked up in about an hour after receiving the call from the hospice nurse. The person who arrived to pick her up was also very professional/respectful and allowed us to take as much time with her as we wished. When I met with Dusty the next day about arrangements, he explained the process and options available without being pushy or trying to “sell” extras. Throughout the process, he kept me informed and, for example, was careful to be certain I understood the cost of the obituary I wanted and offered some options for reducing that cost if I wished. When I stopped by for another reason and started talking about some of the problems I was having with the pictures and media I hoped to use at a memorial lunch I was planning, he not only listened patiently but offered technology advice and let me use his personal media player. I have had experience arranging cremations for four others using two other local companies, and this experience with Dusty at Aria has been by far the best one I have had."

"My Daddy’s service and our family experience at Aria Northwest Highway was truly blessed. Funeral Director Dustin Martin is the kind of person that you would like to see on a more regular basis – but in his industry – you hope to not see him that often. That being said – THANK YOU DUSTIN for your unending kindness, compassion and friendship through the process. Meeting you and discussing Dallas History, Find A Grave and my Dad’s lifelong contributions to the great City of Dallas was simply wonderful! In memory of my dad James A. Dodd, Sr. – I want to personally thank you and let you know that you made everything better in that moment. Your calling to “Be There” is spot on. Aria has a one in a million guy in you! Bling Blinky of TEXAS Shout Out: God Bless You!!"

Irene,
My condolences to you and your family on the loss of your father.
Love,
Martha
Our prayers go out to Adda and the family. We are saddened by the loss of Ron, but we rejoice in his new life with the LORD.
Adda, I am so sorry for your loss of Ronnie. I know he was a great friend to you as well as a dedicated husband. You and your family are in my prayers.
My thoughts are with all of you at this time. I remember Mr. Accomando as our principal at Good Shepherd for a couple years and always admired his daughter, Amy, or her intelligence and smile. Prayers to you all.
Ron was a mentor and a friend. I knew I could rely on him for sound and Godly advice. His positive outlook is one of the things that I learned and is one of the things I still rely on. I will miss him greatly.
This sad news breaks my heart. Ronnie was one of my closest and dearest friends in both high school and college. Some of my best memories of those times involved time spent with him. I will never forget him.
Eddie, I am so sorry for your loss. Prayers for your family.
Adda, Eddie, Irene, Amy – we send our
love and deepest wishes for your peace and comfort.
We send our love and share your sorrow. Also wishing you peace, comfort, and rest.
Mr. Accomando was the best principal St. Pius X ever had.
He was so wonderful with all the children and he was loved.
My sincere condolences.
Patty
Was honored to have him as a principal at GSS. Sorry for your loss, he left a huge impression on this world.
My condolences to you. Prayers and much love.
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. You were a great principal and will truly be missed!
I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Accomando was very helpful to me when I was working on my teaching certificate, both at Good Shepherd and after he went to St. Pius X. May God be with you at this difficult time.
So sorry to read about the death of an old friend. Ron and Bill and I all worked at St. Pius X at the same time. He was always very supportive of our youth ministry program and I know his memory will be cherished by all who knew him. God be with his family and friends as the mourn the death of this honorable man!
Amy, so sorry to hear about your dad. Prayers.
Dear Adda and family,
Ron was a very special person in my life as a principal, role model and educator. He brought out the best in his staff by trusting us to do our jobs the best way possible. I count him as one of the most influential people in my life. I appreciated what he did for Catholic education and for my family. He will be missed.
Sincerely,
Pat Shotland
I first met Ronnie early in my freshman year at the University of Dallas in the fall of 1962.In the spring of 1963, we had English Literary Tradition together and we studied The Divine Comedy and The Waste Land. Later we were frequently in contact up to and including our graduation from UD in the spring of 1966.
I first met Ronnie Accomando in the fall of 1962 shortly after we both began our freshman year at the University of Dallas. In the spring of 1963, we had The Literary Tradition II taught by Dr Richard Zacha in which we studied, among other things, The Divine Comedy and The Waste Land. After that time we did not have any other classes together but we saw one another frequently on campus and had a large number of mutual friends. The last time I spoke with Ronnie on the phone was in the summer of 1996 after our classmate, Bill Fox, had died. With deepest sympathies to Adda and his family I am, most sincerely,Donald Nelson

Ronald Accomando was my 7th grade science teacher at Christ the King in Dallas. He taught us a mnemonic for the 1st 18 elements of the Periodic Table. I still remember it to this day. It carried me through high school, college and podiatry school. He was a wonderful teacher. Many prayers are with his family. Sandra Cuellar
My deepest condolences to Ron’s family. This was the best man I’ve ever met. Ron loved his family more than anything in the world.
This news breaks my heart.
He was feisty, but underneath that feistyness was the softest, sweetest human being ever.
Ron, although we didn’t speak often, you were often in my thoughts. You will be missed by many.

The first job I had in the Dallas-Fort Worth area was being hired to teach music at Good Shepherd Catholic School in Garland. I will never forget the many funny things that Ron said , nor will I ever forget his declaration to us as a faculty: “I will always back you up.” How profound, rare, and wonderful it was to work for someone who so strongly believed in us as teachers, knowing we were all there only because of the great love for and education of our students. Ron was very witty; he was also very wise. I will greatly miss him. I cherish my memories of him as our wonderful principal and as a dear and trusted friend, husband , and father . Adda, Eddie, Irene, and Amy–you and your families are all in my prayers. Love, Mrs. Leslie Lolley
My first job in the Dallas-Fort Worth area occurred in 1984 when Ron hired me to teach music at Good Shepherd Catholic School in Garland. Ron was a dynamic principal who unfailingly believed in us as teachers. I will never forget what he once told our faculty: “I will always back you up.” How rare, wonderful, and profound it was to have a leader who believed in us so strongly! Yet that’s just who he was—a dynamic, hugely supportive, very wise, very witty, and very dear principal, friend, husband, and father. I will never forget him. My deepest condolences and prayers to you—Adda, Eddie, Irene, and Amy, and to your spouses and children as well. He will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Leslie Lolley
Our son, Patrick, could not have had a finer father-in-law! We all have such happy memories of the many good times we have had, visiting with Ron and all the Accomandos, going way back to the time when Pat and Amy were at the University of Dallas. The entire Accomando family is in our prayers at this difficult time.

Adda, and family. Ron will be missed by many. He was my boss, my mentor, but most of all my friend.
He had the feistyness of a tiger, but underneath, he was a soft, sweet soul.
He fought off many battles, in both his career and in life. He was devoted to his family.
Rest in peace Ron. We’ll see each other on the other side.
Bonnie
I worked with Ron at Rapp Collins and stayed in touch with him for many years after that. He was a great mentor, friend and boss. I will always cherish the times we had – we really had a great team and I know he loved his family first and his work second. I thank God for allowing me to have his friendship for so many years. Rest in peace my friend!
We were so lucky to know Ron, and we had such nice times in his company. He was smart, funny, passionate, and interesting, and we will remember him always. Our thoughts are with you, Adda, Amy, and family.
Mr. A was my teacher way back in the 80s at Thomas More. I am so sorry to hear this news but not in the least surprised to see such an outpouring of love. He was a true leader; a sweet, sweet man; and he really inspired my classmates and me to excel, to care, and to laugh and then laugh some more. I loved him and send all my thoughts to the family now. So very sorry for your loss.
