Cron, Elizabeth Ellen Born August 4, 1932, in Piqua, Ohio. Died December 11, 2015, after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s. Ms. Cron is survived by her daughter Sally Markle Wood and husband Larry Wood of Dallas; son and daughter-in-law Jim and Charlotte Markle of Forney; son and daughter-in-law Richard and Pam Markle of Midlothian; and daughter and son-in-law Bonny and Mark Middlebrooks of Midlothian. Grandchildren; Sean Wood, Colin Wood, Katy Wood, Thomas Markle and wife Ashley, Katherine Markle Kornegay and husband Lee, Nicole Markle Campbell and husband Josh, and Kristopher Middlebrooks; great-grandsons: Lucas Markle and Cade Markle; two brothers: James Cron and sister-in-law Pat McMillan, and John Cron. She had many interests, including an early career in modeling. She earned an Associate of Arts degree in Journalism from Cerritos College in California and was a prolific writer, especially of poetry. She had an article published in an aviation magazine based upon her childhood meeting with Orville Wright. An avid fan of the arts, she particularly liked musical theater. She loved animals and took in many animals that appeared at her door. Memorial contributions may be made to the animal rescue organization of your choice.
