So sad to hear. I performed with Syd at Six Flags Over Texas in 1983. Haven’t seen her since – but I will always remember her elegance; red lipstick; laugh; and Prince posters! It was wonderful sharing the stage with that smile. RIP Syd…♥
Sydney was my dance partner and friend at Six Flag Over Texas. We had some amazing times together and she was truly one of a kind. We went on to do many shows together and became wonderful friends. A talented and beautiful soul with a quick wit and a heartwarming laugh. I loved her and will miss her. My deepest sympathy to her family.
Sydney McBeth was a talented artist and woman of character. She will be missed by all who were warmed by her kind and generous heart and those lucky enough to be blessed the light of her sweet smile. I remember her always trying to do her best on the little aspects of our stage shows. She loved every part of show business -especially make-up and costuming. As a footnote, her former boyfriend helped create the artwork for the cover of our hit Christmas Album Cassette. I will miss you Sydney and know we will meet again one day!
I worked with Sydney at Magic Time Machine. She was so much fun and so beautiful and talented. She was so kind and funny. I am so sorry she was taken at such a young age.
I hadn’t seen Sydney for many years but she was definitely a person you would not forget. Great smile, loved her laugh (very distinct) and she loved to do fun things. She was my roommate for a brief time while working at Six Flags over TX and she will be missed.
