Hutson, Jearld "Jerry" L.
Obituary
Jearld L Hutson was born in Silverton, Texas, on September 21, 1930, to Everett and Cora Hutson. He peacefully went to Glory on January 30, 2016, surrounded by his family whom he loved very much. Jearld, or “Jerry” as he liked to be called, grew up in West Texas in the town of Tulia. He was one of 11 siblings and spent his young life working on the family farm. He became interested in electronics when his dad bought him some junk radios. After high school, he married Joyce Elwanda whom he had met at church. He later studied physics at Texas Tech before taking a job at TI and moved his family to Richardson. He continued to work, while attending school at SMU and also constructed his house and raised his family. Jerry’s work life included being a part of several start up electronics firms, after which he began his own electronics business. He ran his company along side his family for 50 years, while earning many US patents and inventing several new devices. Although he loved working, he also enjoyed cooking, studying science and ancient history, walking, and spending time with his family. Jerry and Wanda were married 66 years, had four children, six grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. Jerry was a believer in Christ and attended Trinity Bible Church.

Many good memories of walks to the park with him, also many Christmas events consisting of wrapping paper battles and fun gifts. He was a busy man however he did his best to show his love to his grand children as well as his great grand children. He will be missed.
