Clark, Robert "Bob" C.
Obituary
Robert “Bob” Craig Clark of Richardson passed away on Jan 31st, surrounded by the love of his family. Born in Fayetteville, NC on Nov. 25, 1949, Bob will be remembered for his generous, gregarious, larger than life, personality. Bob was a top-ranking industrial coatings salesman for over thirty years. After heart disease and lymphoma forced his early retirement, he continued to perfect his delicious Bob Burgers, as well as to wage tireless war against angry squirrels and suspected Communist plots. He will be remembered for his unique humor, which masked a great depth of intellect and spirit. Bob graduated from UT Austin in 1972 after studying Philosophy and Business. He met his wife, Karla, in 1978 and they were married in 1979. Bob adored his wife, his children and grandchild, the Dallas Cowboys, his Texas Longhorns, and his dogs, Sadie, Sookie, Pumpkin and Tara. Preceded in death by his parents, Marion and William Clark, and his son, Robert Allen Clark, Jr., Bob is survived by his wife Karla Clark, daughter Jessica Clark, stepson Chris Johnson and daughter-in-law Tracy Johnson; his granddaughter Romana Schlotterbeck, and his brothers, William, Steve, Michael and David. A celebration of Bobby’s life will be held at Aria Funeral Home, 19310 Preston Road, Dallas on Saturday, February 06, 2016 at 4:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. With love in our hearts forever, we celebrate you and your freedom from pain. Arrangements are under the direction of: ARIA Cremation Service & Funeral Home 19310 Preston Road, Dallas, Texas 75252 214-306-6700

Losing a beloved spouse of many years is a very difficult thing indeed but the memory of their love and interaction over the years allow us to get through it. Slowly those memories warm our hearts and allow us to remember with joy and the sorrow diminishes. The sobbing of today will eventually be the smiles of tomorrow as we remember our loved one.
Love you Karla . Words can never convey how sorry i am for your loss. We will miss Bob terribly . We love you and are here for you!
Such beautiful memories you must have. As my hand cannot hold yours, it is doing so virtually my dear Karla. It is clear how much love was felt by both of you. Loving thoughts sent your way. Michele
Your loss of Bobby’s companionship, love and great sense of humor is a tremendous loss. He was a good man and I will certainly always remember his unfiltered sense of humor. Love you Karla and am here if you need something I can help you with.
We are so sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. So wish we could have come visit, but was not able to given Gloria’s health issues. Prayers to you all.
Karla and family: I was the little snotty nosed brother of Kenneth back in the sixties and I have so many wonderful warm memories about Bob. He was always so accepting and caring with me. I am so thankful my life was flavored by his spirit and life. Our love to you all.
Sending much love to you Karla and your family in this time of such grief. So so very sorry for your loss
What a wonderful tribute to him. I wish I could’ve known him. My deepest condolences to Karla and the family on your profound loss. Kristin & I will see you soon.
Karla…who’d of thought that Facebook and the love of Poms would bring us together ?!?! What a sweet pleasure it was for you and Bob to come to Tyler and visit with us and go home with the babies you named Sookie and Tara. We felt so good and blessed knowing they were going to a forever wonderful and loving home. We could tell that you and Bob were instantly smitten with them. Now…it is with sadness in our hearts that we reflect upon the sweet memory of being able to have met Bob. We will be praying for you and your family for strength, peace and comfort and knowing that you are so very loved and thought of.
Karla, It was a great pleasure to meet you and Bobby and share the birth of our grand-daughter, Romy.
I enjoyed our lunches out recently and thought Bobby was just an incredible human being. We will always continue to be there for you now. It was so obvious how much he loved you.
Sending love to you, Karla, and wishing you strength and love to get through the coming weeks, months, and years. The strength of your love for Bobby will endure, and I hope that it will help you to get through this really difficult time xxx

Michelle
My love, there was never a day we didn’t try to make better. Never a day we lost all hope. We went through more bad things than most people ever experience. The loss of not one child, but two, and a granddaughter. The loss of your health. The loss of our future.
We had times when the line between us was stretched so far it almost broke. But it never did. Even through the bad times, our love grew stronger. You are the bravest man I’ve ever known. You went through absolute hell. And, every time, you came back. I thought you would this time, too. I always had faith that you would come back to me. So I am in shock that I can’t find you. I love you forever and I will find you again. I know that you’re making someone laugh right now. Wait for me. I will come.
Karla
Heart felt condolences to the family . Lots of great memories of school days with Bobby . Love and prayers as you go on in life . Thinking of all .
We are very sorry for your loss. We loved Bobby very much. I know Rob enjoyed his and Bobby’s long-winded talks about politics and the world. I loved his sarcasm and how he joked around. I remember one time Bobby came to see Granny in Naples. Bobby took me home, and we stopped by Dairy Queen. He spoiled me with a medium size blizzard. I was in shock! lol He was very generous and was there to help if he was needed. I loved how he’d get excited when Daxton came over to play and how he’d say his name when he saw him. I know you have many more stories than I that will make you smile when you think of him. We love you!
