Lopez, Sabino
Obituary
Sabino Lopez, 83, of El Paso, Texas passed away on March 12, 2016 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. He was long cared for at his residence by his devoted eldest son, Julio. Originally from Mexico, Sabino left his home at an early age to seek a better life for himself and family. He was a charming and adventurous soul. A hard worker who would seek opportunities to place his foot forward when it came to self-improvement. He was passionate about education and music. He enjoyed exploring, learning, traveling, playing his guitar and singing. Through his talent of singing, he met and befriended various musicians in Mexico, some famous. Along with his famous counterparts, he occasionally sang on television. They were wonderful occasions enjoyed by his wife and young children. In the 1960s, he migrated to the U.S. legally where he met his wife, Lita, of 37 years who passed away in 2003. They had five children, all who were devoted to their parents. All who love him dearly and will miss him immensely. Sabino Lopez is survived by his five children: Julio, Mari, Laura, Alex and Jaime. Along with 12 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He was a good father who loved his children to the moon and back. His footprint on their souls will remain for eternity. Be at peace.
