To the family of Dick Hulton.
At TI, Dick was my direct supervisor and mentor for six years (1980 – 1986). As Far East Audit Manager based in Singapore…he’d visit and we traveled the world together, strategized work, tackled and resolved some major audit issues over those years. His professionalism, unique sense of humor and huge laugh remain with me today. That unique International assignment and his faith in me to do it successfully, changed my life…beyond words. When he’d disagree, he’d say; “Charlie, I think you’ve been drinking too much green tea!!” That was classic Dick Hulton.
His passing brings to mind the old proverb, “When an old man dies a library burns to the ground.” I believe this completely, given Dick’s life experiences.
I am truly saddened learning of Dick’s recent passing but am honored to have worked with him and to have known him.
Rest in Peace old friend.
My sincere condolences to his family and loved ones for your loss.
Sincerely,
Charlie Green
