January 26, 1955 - March 19, 2016

William “Billy” Radcliffe Davidson passed away on March 19, 2016 peacefully in Dallas after a valiant fight against complications resulting from a recent surgery, he was 61 years old.

Billy is survived by his wife, Jolanta Davidson; step daughter Julia Davidson; ex-wife Debbi Davidson; son Ben Davidson; daughter Bridgham Hazelgrove and her husband, Ben Hazelgrove; brothers Hil and Jeffery. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, Harry and Dorothy Davidson; his oldest brother Jim Davidson and youngest brother Scott Davidson.

Billy was born in White Plains, New York where he lived during early childhood. In 1960 he moved west with his family arriving in the great state of Texas, more specifically Dallas. His father pursued a private law practice dealing in real estate and tax law. Billy attended Richardson High School and then went to North Texas University in Denton, Texas. After college Billy began his professional career as one of the best diamond sales representatives for various fine jewelry manufacturers. His commitment to his business was exceptional and continued working until his death.

Billy liked sailing, fishing, snow skiing, boating, beaches and home landscaping projects. He loved animals and had the “biggest” heart in Texas. He would light up the room with his infectious smile, warmed hearts and would help anyone in need.

Billy’s ashes will be released at Lake Dallas on January 26,2017 where he enjoyed many happy days getting to know Mother Earth, sailing, fishing, and goofing with his brothers. Final arrangements to be announced.

Billy was one of a kind. Always laughing always the life of any gathering. I met Billy in 1977 and find this hard to believe. I will miss him and his laugh forever.
