Obituary

Francella Marie Garcia, age 55, died unexpectedly on Saturday, April 2, 2016, in Frisco Texas.  She was the loving mother of Justin A. Garcia and Nicacio “Nick” Garcia, both of Frisco.  She was the youngest daughter of Paul and Bessie Garcia of Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Besides her sons she is survived by her brothers David L. Garcia, Rueben Garcia, Vincent Garcia, Lennie Garcia, Richard “Dikki” Garcia and sister Debbie Atler, all of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Francella attended Governor Bent Elementary as well McKinley Junior High and graduated from Del Norte High School in 1979.  She  moved to Frisco, Texas over 23 three years ago and it was here that she raised her two boys, doubling up as a soccer and karate mom and then an avid tennis fan to her son Justin at Centennial High School.  She attended every school function at every school that her sons attended and the pride of her life was touring OU where Justin was enrolled.  Justin plans on being a senior at OU next year.  Though life became tough for the three of them Francella did her best to see that her kids had everything, often times going without basic necessities.  A few months back Justin brought home a female puppy “Lucky” which they all treasured.  Though they did not have much they had the only thing that really mattered in life and that was love for each other. As Nick himself expressed:  “Even though Mom and I had our ups and downs, I still loved her for what she did. She made my Brother and I number 1, and always first before her. She made sure that my Brother and I were loved by her. After everything she has done or did I still love her for the fact that she made us happy. I will never forget what she has done for me and my brother”. Funeral Services for Francella Marie Garcia will start with a Rosary Service at 7:00 P.M., Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. A funeral mass will begin at 10:00 A.M., on Friday, April 15, 2016 also at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church with interment following at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A reception for family and friends will be held after the service at Best Western Plus Executive Suites located at 4630 Pan American Freeway NE @ Montgomery Blvd, Albuquerque 87109 behind the Discount Tire Store. Arrangements are under the direction of ARIA Cremation Service and Funeral Home 19310 Preston Road Dallas, Texas 75252 214-306-6700

    Francella,
Godspeed my beloved friend. I reflect on all of our memories together over these past 18 years. You will be truly missed my dear, by me and my kids… for you always were there for us as we raised our families together. Thanks for the many smiles throughout the years.
I love you, Justin and Nick and I will always be here for the boys.
You are the Best Mother in the world and dedicated your life to Justin and Nick making sure they had everything, but mostly your love.
I will miss all of our walks and talks, but mostly my true friend.

Justin and Nick, you two are like family to us, and we are here for you both. We love you boys, always.
Dickie, I hope that comfort finds you in all of the memories during this difficult time. My arms are always open to you all and we are here for you and the boys with love and support.

Our hearts are hurting and we are so devastated. We have a hole in our hearts, but Francella will always remain inside our hearts.
If only our arms could reach heaven…
I will forever miss you, my sweet dear friend….

"Nothing prepares you for the grief you go through when losing a child. I called this funeral home at 2:00 am broken and could barely talk. The amount of compassion and empathy they showed me immediately let me know I found the right place to cremate my son. I cannot thank them enough for their professionalism, SINCERE concern, and commitment to making sure my son was honored in the most respectful way. I hope this Funeral home values her as much as my family and I do."

"I can’t say enough about how helpful and professional Dusty Martin, the funeral director at the Aria Cremation location on NW Highway has been. From my initial call, he was kind and informative. My friend died at home while on hospice and she was picked up in about an hour after receiving the call from the hospice nurse. The person who arrived to pick her up was also very professional/respectful and allowed us to take as much time with her as we wished. When I met with Dusty the next day about arrangements, he explained the process and options available without being pushy or trying to “sell” extras. Throughout the process, he kept me informed and, for example, was careful to be certain I understood the cost of the obituary I wanted and offered some options for reducing that cost if I wished. When I stopped by for another reason and started talking about some of the problems I was having with the pictures and media I hoped to use at a memorial lunch I was planning, he not only listened patiently but offered technology advice and let me use his personal media player. I have had experience arranging cremations for four others using two other local companies, and this experience with Dusty at Aria has been by far the best one I have had."

"My Daddy’s service and our family experience at Aria Northwest Highway was truly blessed. Funeral Director Dustin Martin is the kind of person that you would like to see on a more regular basis – but in his industry – you hope to not see him that often. That being said – THANK YOU DUSTIN for your unending kindness, compassion and friendship through the process. Meeting you and discussing Dallas History, Find A Grave and my Dad’s lifelong contributions to the great City of Dallas was simply wonderful! In memory of my dad James A. Dodd, Sr. – I want to personally thank you and let you know that you made everything better in that moment. Your calling to “Be There” is spot on. Aria has a one in a million guy in you! Bling Blinky of TEXAS Shout Out: God Bless You!!"
