We have known Doug and his lovely wife Laurie ever since we moved into the neighborhood about 20 years ago. It was obvious that Doug was a kind and hardworking man who cared deeply about his family and neighbors. He and Laurie were always ready to buy Girl Scout cookies from my two daughters. I remember him also rescuing our new lost black lab from the creek. I will miss seeing him outside working on his meticulous lawn or truck. His granddaughters are always welcome to come by and sell their Girl Scout cookies. It is the least we can do for Doug to honor his memory. We will miss you friend and neighbor. RIP forever. David, Ylka, Natasha, and Ninoshka Martinez and Sadie (black lab) and Pico.
Doug was the greatest neighbor and friend one can experience in life. The tree stomp in the front yard will be a permanent reminder of his generosity. We will miss him dearly but will forever cherish the memories.
