June 19, 1946 - May 11, 2016
Dianne Leminger, 69, passed away on May 11, 2016, in Carrollton, Texas, from a long battle with congestive heart failure.
Devoted in her relationship with Christ, she is remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.
Born on June 19, 1946, in Laurel, Mississippi, Dianne was adopted at birth and was the only child of Charles and Zoe Voute. She initially lived in Houston, then moved to Dallas, Texas, with her parents when she was 8 years old. After graduating from Woodrow Wilson HS in 1964, she met Robert Leminger at a USO Dance in Dallas. They were married within a year on July 7, 1965, at Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Dallas. While Robert served in the Air Force, they spent their initial years of marriage in Omaha, Nebraska, returning to Dallas after his military service ended.
It is in Dallas where they would settle, and she would spend the rest of her life raising her children with her husband. Dianne was devoted in her faith to God, a long-term parishioner of St. Rita’s Catholic Church, and a Covenant member of the Christian Community of God’s Delight, where she enjoyed the enduring friendship of many brothers and sisters in Christ.
Dianne was preceded in death by her parents.
