Remembered for his commitment as a cardiothoracic surgeon, his
powerful operatic voice, his smooth dance moves, his joyful
collegiality, his dedication to his family, and his unwavering faith,
Amadeo “Addie” Sison Quintans born in Malasiqui, Philippines in
1939 passed away on January 3, 2022 in Irving, Texas.
Addie enjoyed a full life from the beginnings in the Philippines to
his medical training in New York, Ohio, North Carolina, and finally,
Texas. He is preceded in death by his older brother, Alfredo S.
Quintans. Addie is survived by his beautiful wife, Estrellita, as well
as his loving siblings, Imelda and Arthur. He is the proud and
generous “Pa” of Joel and his wife Alicia, Hazel, Theresa and her
partner Arcangelo, Janelle and her husband Cobe, and Ariel and
his wife Marissa and the doting Lolo or Dodo of Isaac, Amadeo,
and Sophia. His friends and family will miss feasting with him
while hearing him share trivia and tell prolonged stories that he
had undoubtedly told before.
Addie’s life will be celebrated on Saturday, February 12, 2022,
forty days after his passing at the Quintans home. In lieu of
