Larry was a larger than life man. Kind of a combination of chuck Yeager, Clint Eastwood, and John Wayne with Russ a bit of Meyer sprinkled in . I got to know him when we were commiserating about our two sons, Little Larry and Jimbo about 45 years ago . I called him chico he called me cub
I can only imagine the fear that the opposing
rugby team felt when Larry took to the field.
I hope little Larry carrys on the fine spirt of his loving father
All the best Larry

Truly a man’s man and a friend to all. He could be rough, he could be crude, he could be polished, he could dine with kings and he could enjoy a meal with common men anywhere. He was the most solid man I ever met in my life. I will miss him and not embarrassed to say I truly loved him. I refuse to say goodbye. Instead, I’ll say “See you later! Have everything ready for a great reunion when we meet again”. And make sure you’ve got Jet and Gippo with you!
Larry was my pledge brother at the KA House in Chapel Hill in ’63. An intelligent, forthright and hard-charging man then and throughout his life. So sorry to learn of his passing and with sincere condolences to Molle and the family.
