Obituary
Charles C. Ruiz, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022. He was born in Dallas Texas, to Nora Ruiz and the late Charles L. Ruiz. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Carol Ann Ruiz.
Charles is a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served overseas as an explosive and demolition specialist. He was an educated man with many talents. After years as an accountant, he found interest in the ever-changing technology and worked as a programmer. He was a caring, giving man, devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He enjoyed movies, cows, cruises, and spending time in the country. He also lived for the simple things in life, family gatherings and watching grandkids play and was always willing to put others before himself. Following his passion for serving others he spent his last several years as a security guard.He is survived by his mother, Nora Ruiz; three brothers, Vincent, Steven, and Mario; three children, Antoniette Ponewash, Charles Ruiz Jr., and Timothy Ruiz; seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church on February 21, 2022 11:00am.
A private interment at Dallas–Fort Worth National Cemetery will be held by the family at a later date.
