Please know our thoughts and prayers are with Elaverne's family today. We've known Elaverne for a number of years dating back to the early 1970's when she was Glynn's supervisor in the Learning Center at Dallas Baptist College. Later, she was among the first to welcome us when our family first came to Duncanville First Baptist Church. Both of our daughters adored "Mrs. Elaverne" and loved hearing stories about their dad's college years from her. She was a wonderful Christian woman and will be missed.
