Obituary
Edwena Margaret Randall Florey peacefully passed away Oct 15, 2013, at age 86, with her loving family at her side, sharing love and gratitude. Born Nov 8, 1926 in Beaumont, TX where she lived until the family moved to Dallas in 1968. In her younger years she enjoyed softball, bowling & later worked as an LVN. She was a caring, supportive mother who gave everything she could to her children. Her children and grandkids felt blessed to have weekly family gatherings. She was preceded in death by her husband John Dupree Florey, & her brother, E.M. Randall Jr. She is survived by her 3 children, Randall Lynn, Lynette Kay, and Reagan Dupree Florey, Reagan’s wife, Neila and their children Ryan Christopher Florey & Tiffany Nicole Florey & husband, Langdon Elliott, & her sister, Barbara Ann Mitchell, & many nieces and nephews. She was a very gentle woman that always took care of the family, especially the kids. She was our best friend. In her final days, her last wish for the family was to have fun and enjoy life. We were so fortunate to have had her with us for so long. She will be missed more than words can express. Internment of ashes at DFW National Cemetery will be on Oct 25 at 2:15 sharp, Lane B. Celebration of Life to be held at the home of Reagan and Neila Florey, 6438 Mercedes Ave., Dallas, Tx 75214, on Oct 26 at 2:00 PM.
