Kory leaves to cherish his memory a host of friends and relatives including his father, Randy Hunt, mother June Hunt Ziegenhorn and stepfather, Garland Ziegenhorn, Kory’s older brother Paul and his partner Jan Mitchell, his younger brother Roy and wife Hope along with their daughters Heather and Stephanie, and son Michael with his wife Courtney and their three children. Other relatives include an aunt & uncle, Marvin & Sara DeWolfe and their three children: son Marvin Lee Jr. & wife Lisa and their two sons, daughter Pam DeWolfe Castella & husband Bryce and their two sons, Chase & Jeremy and his son ; daughter Greta DeWolfe Murray & husband Alan, and their four children: son Philip & wife Alison & their two daughters; son Christopher & wife Elizabeth and son; son Joshua of The United States Marine Corps., and son Jake & partner Jason Lankford. Kory’s broad smile, his infectious personality, and gregarious nature will be missed by all who knew and loved him. His life was one of happiness, helpfulness, adventure and loving. “It is what it is,” he’d often say. He was a best friend to all he met, and his life was marked by lively conversation and celebration. He ran rather than walked toward the good and the bad. His final lap was one that God chose. Farewell for now, Kory.

To the Family ,
I am saddened to hear of the loss to the Hunt Family. I have been a friend to Kory for twenty two years and over the time I have known Kory he always managed to bring a smile to many people. He will be deeply missed by all. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
God Bless you all,
David Ford
I was a childhood friend of Kory’s and I remember him as such a fun and nice guy. We played a lot of basketball together after school during my “tomboy” years. My prayers are with his family. I’m so sorry for your loss.

During our teen years Kory had a special place in my heart as he was always there when I needed him. May the Lord give your family the peace strength, that only He can give, to get through this difficult time. Will miss your wonderful smile and caring heart Kory.

Hunt Family,
My sincerest condolences to your family. Even though Kory was our neighbor for a short time, he made you feel like he had been your neighbor for many years. He always had a wave to give us, would ask how my day went at work with my students, or would just comment about the nice weather. My husband and I will miss the smell of his cooking out on the porch and just his overall smile, laugh, and friendliness. It is hard to accept that he isn’t next door, I am waiting for his friendly wave. I hope the Lord may comfort you all during this tough time.
Sincerest condolences,
Jenny Enriquez
Kory you were such a sweet soul! So funny, always laughing, BIG smile. I talked with you for quite a while at our 20th reunion – I now feel very blessed that we had that time to visit.
Until we meet again my friend!
With love – Midge
