Obituary
Victor Jimenez was born in Donna, Texas to Hipolito (Polo) and Elia Jimenez. He (unexpectedly) passed away on May 3, 2021 at the age of 71 years in Dallas Tx. He was preceded in death by his parents Hipolito and Elia (Sifuentes) Jimenez and his brothers Hipolito Jr. and David. Victor graduated from Immaculate Heart of Mary School and Harlingen High School in Harlingen, Texas. He moved to Dallas, Texas in 1970 where he had been employed by Dr. Pepper Company. He is survived by his brothers and sisters- Richard Jimenez (Mary); Irma Cockerill (Kevin); Irene De La Garza (John); Elia Jimenez, Beverly Jimenez and Roland Jimenez. Victor loved all his nephews and nieces – Hipolito, Patrick, Andrew, David and Matthew; Mitzy, JoEn, Heidi, Adriane and Amanda. He loved all his great nephews and nieces: Justin, Stormy, Mackenzie, Hunter, Kai, Johnnie, Linus, Max, Tate, Charlsie, Mayumi, Alina and Arion. Victor will be remembered for his big heart and kindness. He treated everyone as family because to him, they were family. Rosary will be before mass. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church at 6306 Kenwood Ave., Dallas, Tx. on Friday, August 6, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. His cousin, Deacon Gordon Lee will officiate alongside the parish Deacon Ken Reisor. The Rite of Committal will be at Restlawn Cemetery. The family requests donations to Parkland Hospital in lieu of flowers.
