Obituary
Billie Jo Low (Pieratt), 79 of Granbury, TX, passed from this earth peacefully on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 in Dallas, TX. Billie is survived by her husband of 32 years, Everett Low of Granbury; sons Jeff Pieratt and Mike McVey (Wynn Brookshire); Everett’s children Mark Low (Debbie), and Matthew Low; grandchildren Jason Pieratt (Ashley), Lyndsey Norr (Cory), Sarah Bassi (Steven), Faith Pieratt, Sydney McVey, Blake Low, Natalie Low and Caroline Low; and great-grandchildren Piper and Jake Pieratt, Savanah and Scarlett Norr, and Emma Bassi. Along with many other family and friends, Billie is also survived by cousin Jeanne Williams, who was like a sister to her. She was preceded in death by parents J.D. and Jeanne Pieratt, brother Jon Pieratt, and son Tim McVey. Billie was born on January 17,1939 in Beaumont, TX and grew up in Fort Worth attending Paschal High School. She lived throughout Texas in Odessa, Austin, Friendswood and Granbury. Billie loved spending time with her dear friends (the Yoyo Sisters) and cherished time with her family, especially while hosting the annual Thanksgiving get-together. Billie loved her pets and constant companions Lacy, Molly and Jazzy. After retirement, Billie spent many years as a volunteer at Lake Granbury Medical Center. Billie loved attending Triple Cross Cowboy Church of Hood County and was secure in her faith and love of the Lord. Billie will be so missed by all who loved her dearly.
