Obituary
Marilee J. Young, age 87, died at Medical City Dallas Texas on January 10, 2022. Born on February 20,1934 in Fort Wayne Indiana, Marilee was a daughter of the late Elmer and Edna Grace Hardisty. Marilee attended grade school at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Waynedale, Indiana and graduated from Elmhurst High School in 1952. Marilee was a longtime employee at General Electric in Fort Wayne until her retirement in 1989. Marilee lived in Fort Wayne Indiana for 85 years and relocated in November of 2019 to be near her son, Randall Young in Carrollton Texas. Survivors include Randall Young, son, and his wife Lillian Young of Carrollton Texas, Alexandra Arnold, granddaughter, and her husband Chad Arnold of Farmers Branch Texas; Cameron Arnold, great grandson, Christian Arnold, Great Grandson, Amelia Arnold, Great Granddaughter; James Hardisty, brother, and his wife Patricia Hardisty of Estero Florida. Marilee was preceded in death by brothers William and Ronald Hardisty and sisters Lou Ann Engelman and Jean Bojrab. A celebration of life will be held in Fort Wayne Indiana at a later date during the summer.

She was very loved by many!
