Obituary
Prestley Dean Morris, son of Presley Dallas “Pete” Morris and Margaret Alice Bellah, passed away at his home in Dallas, on Sunday, March 15th, 2020. He was born on January 1, 1945, in Ada, Pontotoc County, Oklahoma – the first child born in Pontotoc County in 1945. He attended Hays Elementary, Ada Junior High, and Ada Senior High School. Shortly after graduation, he joined the U.S. Navy. Returning home from service, he joined Texas Instruments in Dallas, TX, where he was a Senior Engineering Technician for 30 years until retirement. In 1970, he married Sandra Kay McCauley also from Ada, and they have resided in Dallas, TX, since 1971. Prestley’s interests included trains, planes, motorcycles and automobiles – with cars being his favorite, and a lifetime hobby. He was preceded in death by his father and mother. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra Kay; siblings, Arthur Dallas Morris of Enid, OK; Carolyn Kay Layton of Claremore, OK; Ruth Ann Smith of Ada, OK; and Patricia Jean Sanford of Edmond, OK; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Internment will be announced at a later date.
