I knew Virginia when I lived in Columbus, Mississippi. I was a newlywed and my first time away from home. She became a second mother to me and I never forgot her.

Mrs. Nichols was always the perfect Southern Lady. I am glad I was able to know her and her family. Mrs. Nichols was kind enough to make me one of her handmade Clothes Pin Dolls. Just in that little doll was so much love and I cherish it ~ the love and the doll. I can just hear her sweet voice. Thank you God for sharing Mrs. Nichols with me.
My love, Helen

Although I had not personally met your sweet mother, Beth, I have heard such endearing and wonderful things about her. I do know for a fact that she has a loving and caring daughter. Please know dear one that you and your family are in my heart and my prayers. May our Lord comfort you with His ever lasting love..

A lovely and loving Christian lady. The last time I saw her, she was already up in her 80s, she took a pretty turquoise bracelet off her arm and putting it on mine said to think about her when I was in Africa. She and Hardeman were my ideal couple in Christian ministry.

Our heartfelt sympathy, love and prayers are with you! We loved that sweet lady! Hardeman told Levi just before we were married in 1967-"dynamite comes in small pkgs" referring to Virginias' being short and my shortness ! We often exchanged "preachers wife stories when they visited in Jasper!
