Obituary

Patrick “PJ” Lamar Adger, Jr, 30 years old, passed away in Plano, Texas on May 2, 2022.

Born October 20th, 1991, in Carrollton, Texas he lived in Plano and Mansfield and worked as an Account Specialist at Tom Thumb. Patrick loved to skateboard and play the guitar. He was artistic and musically inclined. He taught himself how to play the guitar at the age of 12. He had a love of all genres of music, from classic Eagles to today’s hip hop. Patrick was very free spirited, had an inquisitive mind, and a unique sense of humor. He had a heart of gold and a smile that would light up any room he walked into.

Patrick is survived by his parents; Regina Andrade and Casey Halton from Dallas, Texas, and Patrick Lamar Adger, Sr from Dallas, Texas. Grandparents; Duane and Manuela Cochran from Mansfield, Texas, Daniel Andrade, Sr from Dallas, Texas and Nadirah H. Saleem from Belcher City, LA. Aunts/Uncles; Erica and Roderick Douglas from Mansfield, Texas, Daniel Andrade, Jr from Mansfield, Texas, Christina Angelone, from Frisco, Texas, Desmond E. Adger, From Belcher City, LA, LaRhonda G. Adger from Belcher City, LA and Nadirah W. Saleem from Belcher City, LA. Cousins; Tai Douglas, Brooklyn Douglas, Isaac Andrade, Natalie Cochran, Olivia Cochran, Bryce Adger and Brady Adger. And 1 brother, Isaiah Johnson.

Patrick was proceeded in death by his cousins, Isaiah Andrade, and Azia Andrade.

Since Patrick had a great love for dogs, in lieu of flowers the family is asking you to please donate to Operation Kindness.

 

A Funeral Service celebrating Patrick’s life will be on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 2:00pm at North Dallas Funeral Home located at 2710 Valley View Ln., Farmers Branch, TX 75234.

    This is Venus Mom. I am at a loss for words I am so sorry for your loss I can only imagine the pain that you must be enduring right now. All I can say is to hold on and treasure those 30 years of memories. God allowed you to have your son, but He must have wanted him back. May God continue to hold you and strengthen you.     I haven’t seen PJ for long time but he never left my heart. Regina was my bestie/sis he was just like her they have a smile that can light up a room and will be missed by many. May god be with the family through this hard time. God Bless

    Regina I’m so sorry for you loss. Whenever I would go into the store he would always greet me with a big smile. I never knew he was your son. But thinking back now he smiled just like you! "I can’t say enough about how helpful and professional Dusty Martin, the funeral director at the Aria Cremation location on NW Highway has been. From my initial call, he was kind and informative. My friend died at home while on hospice and she was picked up in about an hour after receiving the call from the hospice nurse. The person who arrived to pick her up was also very professional/respectful and allowed us to take as much time with her as we wished. When I met with Dusty the next day about arrangements, he explained the process and options available without being pushy or trying to “sell” extras. Throughout the process, he kept me informed and, for example, was careful to be certain I understood the cost of the obituary I wanted and offered some options for reducing that cost if I wished. When I stopped by for another reason and started talking about some of the problems I was having with the pictures and media I hoped to use at a memorial lunch I was planning, he not only listened patiently but offered technology advice and let me use his personal media player.
