Obituary
Joel Patrick Pittman, who was born on August 21, 1937, passed away peacefully at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Plano ICU on Friday, October 26, 2018, following a three-month illness. He is survived by his wife, Angela Michelle Carpenter Pittman, his daughter, Kristin Michelle Pittman Ortega, his son-in-law, Aaron Thomas Ortega, along with his two granddaughters, Aubrey Michelle Ortega and Addison Jane Ortega. He was blessed to have two diverse career paths that he cherished over the course of his life. Of equal importance was the time he shared on a daily basis with his two granddaughters including carpool pick-up, after school trips to the yogurt store and watching with pride from the sidelines or the audience. He lived each day of his life with faith, family, and friends at the forefront.
