Passed away unexpectedly Sept. 23. A family memorial was held Oct. 28th. Gone ahead are dear parents Felton M. and Alice Sanders, and sister, Hellen J. Long. Survived by son, Noel, sister Shirley Sanders, brother-in-law Wayne Long, nieces and nephews, and cousins. As a teen, Ben entertained with the Sheldon Brothers in western clubs. In the 60’s had the dance band at Ventura’s Italian Village, then at Love Field’s Executive Inn, followed by Las Vegas’ Frontier Club and years of cruise bookings. He was a memorable vocalist/guitarist and funny-man. He was equally blessed with a tender heart and generous nature. We miss you Benjy.
Note to friends Jodi, Larry, Charlie, Leo and those unnamed- you brightened his life.

Have thought of Ben many times over the years since he entertained at our club in Charleston Wv. He was one of our favorite acts and a good friend. Have many fun memories of his shows. We now live in Waxahachie and had not been able to find him,he will be missed by many.

I have fond memories of my dad, Harry Bishop (Bishop Auto Glass and Seat Covers), listening to Ben's music. I don't know where they met but my dad spoke highly of Ben and thought of him as a friend. My dad was a great judge of character so Ben must have been one of the good guys.

It saddens us greatly to hear of Ben's passing. His friendship with our mother, LaVerne Brown, gave her great happiness in her final years when she jetted off to Dallas every so often for a visit, or when he would call her in the evening to chat. Our love to Shirley and family. The Brown/Schroeder family.
