Sheila Anderson Webb
Obituary
Sheila Anderson Webb, Age 61, of Tarrant County transitioned into God’s heavenly glory on April 1, 2022 after a complex and challenging battle with Liver and Kidney Disease. Sheila was born in Dallas Texas on April 4, 1960. She was the fourth of six children in her family. She grew up in Oak Cliff and joined Golden Gate Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. She was a faithful Christian and was active in the church. Sheila was always full of life with a dynamic personality. Sheila was passionate about learning and had a desire to create and grow new businesses. After graduating from the business cluster of Skyline High School in 1978, she went on to study Business Administration at the University of Houston where she graduated in 1982 with a degree in Accounting. Sheila was blessed to always have her family around. She was generous and dedicated to many and to her immediate and extended family. Sheila enjoyed the joy of music with her family. She even helped create a family-formed group called The Anderson King Family Gospel Singers that performed at various churches, weddings, theaters, and other events over several years. In 1985, she joined the Dallas Drama Company as a stage singer. There, she met her former spouse, who she married in 1987 and had four beautiful children with. After gaining her CPA license in 1989, she began her career as a business professional in accounting and financial management in the government, corporate, and private sectors. Sheila ambitiously built upon her accounting and business professions and created two businesses: Metrotax Service (1992-1998) and Tree Of Life Home Health Care (1996-2007). She maintained a valid CPA license for 33 years until her final days with us. Her strong desire to help others is what kept her going through the many challenges of her life. She valued whatever community she was in, and with a sense of purpose, would participate in local organizations, political campaigns and would sponsor city-wide community events. She is described as a determined yet compassionate leader, a selfless giver, and a role model to her children. She leaves us to cherish all those who loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents Julious Linwood Anderson and Elvie Lee (Roberts) King and her sister, Vernelle Anderson Wren. She is survived by 4 children: Aaron Alexander Webb, Matthew Taylor Webb, Rebekah Christine Webb, and Rachel Simone Webb; as well as 2 sisters (Lee Jarrell and Tanya Jones) and 2 brothers (Lin Anderson and Tommy King).
