Obituary
Harry Charles Siegley was born August 2, 1920 in Augusta, Kansas and passed away April 18, 2013. He served in the United States Coast Guard from September 2, 1942 and was honorably discharged on February 6, 1946. During his service he was stationed at Air Station Biloxi. Harry was an aviation Machinist Mate 2nd Class and flew with a crew on a PBY-A5 seaplane. After his discharge from the military Harry began his professional career in the oil supply business and retired from Joy Petroleum after 35 years. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Irene; Children; Tommy and Nancy Siegley; Susie and Todd Bailey; Nancy and G.W. Melton; Grandchildern; Chris and Mindi Siegley; Carrie and Brian Schroeder; Kyle Melton and Shelby Melton. Harry was also blessed with 6 great grandchildren; Colby, Cayson, Caitlyn, Austin, Carlee, and Aiden. Harry lived life to the fullest…he loved hunting, pigeon racing, bowling, gardening, fishing, and golfing….and did we mention fishing?? A Memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Tuesday, April 23 at 11:00 a.m. at Valley View Christian Church, located at 17601 Marsh Lane, Dallas, Texas.
