Mary was the third of eight children.  She is preceded in death by three brothers; Ralph, Leon and Donald Hilton. She leaves behind a legacy of love and generosity to her family.  She is survived by three brothers: Jack Hilton of Tyler, TX; Robert Hilton and Paul Hilton, both of Decatur, TX and her sister, Ople Hunnicutt of Flower Mound, TX.  She is survived by her four children:  Gail Czekaj (Harald) of Mesquite, TX; Phyllis (Joe) Petronella of Quitman, TX; Tim (Kim) Tumulty of Rockwall, TX and Vicki Tumulty of Garland, TX. She is also survived by four step-children:  Gary (Janell) Slater of DeSoto, KS; Brenda Schwartz of Salem, MO; Danette Gonyaw of Seagoville, TX, and Denise Clements of Hueytown, AL.  Mary was blessed with and loved being Granny to her 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Mary retired from Texas Instruments after 32 years.  She then began her second career doing what she loved, bringing hope and joy to seniors.  She delivered Meals on Wheels for several years as a volunteer, then as an employee.  She later worked at Evans Senior Center for the City of Mesquite.  During her tenure at Evans, Mary played an integral role in planning dances for the senior community.  She loved music and dancing and shared that love with her many friends she made during those events.
