Born on April 22, 1923 in Helena, AL and passed away on August 1, 2013 in Dallas, TX.  She is survived by her son, John E. Wall, Jr. and beloved daughter-in-law, Teresa; daughter, Melinda Washburn and her husband, Doug; grandchild, Darri Washburn; nephews Bill Dickey, John Dickey, Travis Hunley and Ray Hunley; niece, Martha Leski; and cousin-in-law, Kay McCarley.  She is preceded in death by her husband of almost 62 years, John E. Wall, Sr. She was the last member of the Cooper/Harper clan. Irma graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School where she met the love of her life, John Sr. In 1941, the same year she was the Tennis Champion of Dallas TX. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, tirelessly devoted to her family. A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday August 5, 2013 at First Presbyterian Church of Dallas, Sudie George Chapel, 408 Park Avenue, Dallas, TX 75201. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Stewpot at First Presbyterian Church.
