Mr. John P. Brooks,
I am sure you get these letters from your clients from time to time but this one is a little different.
Recently our family lost its patriarch, moral compass and spiritual leader, Mary Lafaune Hull. She was a Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt Friend and so much more to so many. She lived her life teaching us all what it means to be unconditionally loved, forgiven and completely accepted and was an inspiration to everyone who she touched and enriched the lives of everyone who ever knew her.
I have tried to put to words the enormity of what you and Amanda have done for this family during what has been one of the worst times in all of our lives many times but am falling hopelessly short of conveying just what yours and Amanda’s generosity and kindness have meant to our entire family during this time. The peace of mind and comfort you and she have provided cannot ever truly be expressed in mere words but I want you to know your actions and consideration have been nothing short of a blessing to us all. you will never understand the depth of my appreciation for what you have done for our family. You have brought dignity and honor to her passing as she did to all of us through her life.
We had no idea where to begin in this process. We were guided with thoughtfulness, kindness and understanding the entire way. The outpouring of sympathy and caring was simply put, more than I expected and am overwhelmed by it. We could not have hoped for anything more in any circumstance and our collective thanks will remain understated regardless of how we try to express it.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart and may God bless you.
